I'm married, but some guys don't notice or care ; so when they hit on me, should I ignore them, put them in their place or what? I smile alot so maybe they get the wrong idea, but I am very in love with my husband and think its disrespectful for them to say something sexual to me.

I have had to deal with this situation too. You can not be nice about things like this because men can be very hard headed. You really just need to spell it out and tell him that you are not interested. You can not ever be nice with that person again because he will continuously take it as your being interested in him. Men! Sheesh!

Well, I would think just telling them your HAPPILY MARRIED would take care of it. But I know some guys just never get the picture and think that all women want to play around. if the behavior persists, a simple I'm not interested should help.

I feel the same way you do; I usually smile about it, but when it goes too far, I will say: you are making me uncomfortable...maybe not in those words, depending on the situation, but with guys, you have to be straight forward and clear, otherwise they don't get it.

Relax. Unless their comments are offensive, take it as a compliment that you are attractive. Just because a man is hitting on you, it doesn't mean you have to cave in and go with him, does it? You are a big girl now - you can say no!
I really don't understand women who get all uptight when a guy tries his luck with her. I find it flattering, and it gives my husband an ego boost too, knowing a guy is interested. We both know I would never cheat, so it's just something that makes us both feel good.

They might not known that you are married. If that concerns you make sure that your wedding band is in good view and do not provoke them to approach you for them hitting on you.

ah, I've had this same problem with my co-workers and you know what? i just looked at myself whats missing with me and the answer was so simple.
wedding ring. it really is for showing others dear. XD
they say its a symbol of the love between you and your other half, but when im at work, its a ward the shoos off other girls

get yourself a can of mace and a cell phone!
Telling them you are married will not work, at least for me, they never believe you, they look around for your "husband" who is not there, and then they look at you like "you are such a liar"!
Then they keep getting in your face, just stick with the mace and boots.

it is very disrespectful...but lots of men don't care...so you have to be obvious and say I'm married and happy and you're a jerk for not respecting my husband and myself....
if they act like that then they need to be put in their place

Handle it with class, simply say, "I'm sorry, that comment was inappropriate because I'm a happily married woman and I kindly ask that you respect that." If they ignore your nice request, LEAVE, walk away.
Simple.
