I was at school when the first tower fell (I live in the UK), and when I got home, my mum and dad were watching the news (my uncle had been killed two days before, that's why they were sat at home), and I saw the plane hit the second tower. I'll never forget that sight as long as I live, and I think that it would be an insult to the victims if I did.

I was sitting in my accounting or law class in collage. When the second plane hit I was in the student union and I was able to witness via the TV when both towers fell. The rest of the day was scary because there was a bomb threat at the railroad station in Providence which is where I was attending school.

i was in new york two days before the incident... my dad wanted to stay for three more days but then we couldn't coz there was no plane on that day to London (since i live in london), i woke up the morning of 9/11 in london and saw what was happening on TV, i was so shocked i couldn't believe it at first i thought it was a film or something. If we stayed for three more days we could've been in the accident coz my dad was planning to go right at the top of the twin towers, or we could've not came back to london cos the airports were closed... it would've been chaotic for us!

We heard about it at 845am
By 5pm there were no casualties and we knew the building cliamed everybody

In the car on my way to work in Providence, RI when the first plane hit, at work in the employee lounge watching it on TV when the second plane hit. Still in the employee lounge watching on TV when the Towers fell. They sent us home after that and I was glued to the TV for the rest of the day, bawling my eyes out. One of my co-workers' sister's was an airline attendant on one of the planes that hit the Towers.

At work in IN trying to see what was going on, and the internet was jammed badly. No TV's in the office at that time.

We even had some F-15's escort a pilot, from a small town, in a private plane down, after the FAA called the "ground all planes".

It was AWESOME to see the F-15's fly over...what a roar! They were scootin'!
