Yes, there is. There was a scientist who worked on samples that were taken from the moon's soil, and at the time, the definition of "life" was different than it is now- so at the time, the scientist had to say that there wasn't any life there. However, a year or two ago, he was on National Public Radio's "Science Friday" discussion, and he said that due to the changes in definitions, that yes, he did find life- it was something to do with absorption of substances, some kind of feeding mechanism. I'm guessing that you could look it up in the archives at NPR, or write to them, and they could refer you to the information. Good luck! :)

The only chance that life exists on the moon is in the polar regions. The way this works is through ice that has been preserved near the poles. The preservation is thought to happen because no sunlight has been on the poles, due to the moon's alignment as well as overshadowing because of land features.
How did the ice get there?
About 3.7 billion years ago the earth and moon were bombarded by comets, that carry ice.
So the ice could of impacted the surface of the moon, near the poles mind you (preservation), and endured over time.
How does the ice endure?
because the ice would be inside the lunar surface due to the comet's impact, preventing the molecules of the ice to vaporize into space.

Oh yea, if you didn't already know, which i hope you do.... Ice is water. Water is of course, well...pretty much, life.

So yea, maybe.

Not since the last astronauts from Apollo 17 left. But apart from the lack of air, water and food there is no reason why there can't be life there.

But if you do find anyone saying there is life on the Moon just smile and agree with them and back out of the door very slowly and run as soon as they are out of sight.

There's no confirmed life on any planet other than earth as far as I know, and there's little to no evidence of life on the moon.
