Yes He/She can increase a sentence, and have you charged with contempt of Court.

Within the courtroom judges have a very wide range of powers. If you are rude, contemptous or disrespectful they can and will impose fines, jail time and have you removed if necessary. Even if you don't push it to that point, your attitude will absolutely be reflected in the judges judgement for or against you. It's generally sensible policy to go to a courtroom respectably dressed in business type clothes and keep a quiet, respectful tone with the judge.

A judge is God in his courtroom. He can do almost anything he wants. I had a judge tell me once that I should steal money from the cooperation to make a payment. I was one second from being locked up. First time I had respect for a lawyer.

This owuld be a separate thing for which a fine or jail time can be given. But, it is not part of the sentence of the other crime.

Thy can assign additional fines or time to be served.

THE JUDGE CAN ADD ONE MORE CHARGE AGAINST THE ACCUSED FOR MISBEHAVIOUR AND/OR ENHANCE THE PUNISHMENT ALLOWED IN LAW.
