They have to get legally remarried, they can do it the cheap way and just get married at the courthouse though.

Once an order of divorce has been entered and filed there is nothing they can do.

My mother and stepfather married when I was 5, divorced when I was 16, started dating again when I was 18 and have been together every since....they have decided not to remarry (yet -- I am holding out hope that they won't scar me for life by living in sin lol). I am now 37 -- so they've been back together this time longer than they were married.

I wish your friends the best - sometimes circumstances aren't conducive to being married, but later when things change they see the relationship with new eyes.

Seems like to me that they made a mistake by getting married the 1'st time, why would you want to make the same mistake twice with the same person, they don't need to re marry, tell them to just live together and that way if they have problems again one can just leave and no hassle with another divorce, I've done some stupid things in my life but marrying a person twice was not one of them,

Im sure they can. I know here in Indy a couple (that is leagally divorced can easily get married (or in this case remarried to each) There is no law that states there has to be a ceremony.
They're just required to have someone that can legally perform ceremonies sign their paperwork without actually performing a ceremony. Is really quite simple,at least here at Indianapolis

Nobody ever has to have a wedding ceremony to get married. You can get married in a few minutes in a courthouse by a justice of the peace, whether it's your first marriage, second marriage, or tenth.

They have to get married again. You can be married by a judge. You just call for an appointment at the court house for this.

Yes, you can get an Annulment of divorce decree. The court rendering a judgment for divorce may, at any time, annul it on the joint application of the parties, and restore the parties to the condition of husband and wife. The annulment voids the divorce decree and any separation agreement.

Pretty sure you can't "undo" a divorce but they can just get a marriage license and then go to a judge. It'll take 20 minutes.. tops

Even if it is possible, it would probably be such a drawn out process that it would be quicker to just get a new marriage license. (as someone else said, they don't need a ceremony.)
