If they do anything like they normally do they will most likely trade that pick and end up with a couple more 1st rounders over th next couple of years. The 49ers could actually end up with #1 overall as well, but I doubt it. If they did would the Pats take McFadden anyways?

Isn't it funny how they lose their pick, but they have the 49ers and will end up with a top 5 pick this year anyways? lol

Yup. Pats will trade down and get a mid 1st round pick and a 1st rounder next year.

I think they will trade the number pick and move down to the position in the draft of the team they traded it to and also get their number one next year. Pats are usually very smart with stockpiling picks for the future.

They'll probably draft defense...They could use a couple more young LBs...They do have Adalius Thomas...Bruschi, Vrabel, and Seau are still good, but they aren't getting any younger...They have Maroney at RB, and they like him...They might get a RB for a solid backup...I'm not sure McFadden would be there at #5...

they can trade down and get michael jenkins to replace asante samuel if he leaves. or they can stay where the 9ers are and get james laurinaitis to replace seau. they wont go mcfadden because they already have maroney and the pats dont score by running, they score by throwing.

the Pats will simply take the best player available in the draft, regardless of position.

if no one fits that description, then they will trade down

since they lost their other 1st round pick in Spygate, look for them to trade it and turn it into 2 1st round picks again

i do no longer think of they must loose their draft possibilities. gamers screw up, yet they do no longer ought to forfit all of their earnings so why ought to the Pats loose a draft %.? anyhow, loosing a frequent-around %. won't harm because of the fact their loaded with expertise.
