Just once,around 25 years ago,when country music sounded country. Jean shepard and Jimmy c Newman starred,but there was a fantastic dancing troupe that for me,stole the show.
Apart from the actual performances,the thoughts I keep,are of a car park the size of our village (or so it seemed) and a great day out on the Opryland theme park

Went to the Grand Ole Pory in the 70's to see my favorite perform the "Midnight"Show.Marty Robbins hosted the midnight show from the opry that was so he could persue another passion,he drove a race car at the Nashville Speedway.After the race he would get to the Opry for the mindnight show.Always my favorite.

It's Grand Ole Opry and Yes I have been there. Very nice show to watch live.

I have been several times and I used to really enjoy going but the last two times I went I was really disappointed because the acts they had were not classic country srtists. The only one who was classic artists I saw last two times was Bill Anderson and Jimmy C. Newman. I have no plans to go back to the Grand Ole Opry but I will go to Branson as the entertainers there are for the most part are the classic artists and there are several theaters there to choose from. Take me back to the good old days is all I can say. Back to a time when true classic country music was on the menu.

My parents have been there and say its amazing,. I am not really into country but the pictures they brought back were amazing. So beautiful inside and also, the museum is top notch. They actually went one time and saw the band Alabama perform. They really had a wonferful time, and like I said it was beautiful on the pictures...
