sodium burns in air. 4Na +O2--->2Na2O

2Mg +O2--->2MgO

S+O2--->SO2

P has more than one oxide, P2O5 is one

4Na + O2 ===> 2Na2O

(This is a tough one, because the actual product is sodium peroxide, Na2O2. I think the teacher wants you to say Na2O, though.)

2Mg + O2 ===> MgO

P4 + 5O2 ===> 2P2O5

S + O2 ===> SO2

(You can get SO2 to oxidize further, 2SO2 + O2 ===> 2SO3. But that takes some forcing with a catalyst.)
