A few others above have mentioned that there is too much much competition in the West but I think the competition that would keep him out first would be from his own team. If Amare, Marion, and Nash are givens for the all-star team it will be very difficult to make it as a fourth player from one team. The only team that have done that are
The 2005-06 Pistons joins the Celtics (1952-53, 1961-62 and 1974-75), L.A. Lakers (1961-62 and 1997-98) and Philadelphia 76ers (1982-83) as the only teams in All-Star Game history to have four players selected to play in an single All-Star Game.

I don't think so but it could happen. Leandro is really good, BUT there is a lot of competion for him. It is a popularity contest and he has beeen hurt so he has not shown off his talent level. He is a great player, but he doesn't stand out. If he makes it it will be good, but there is a bigger chance that he won't. He hasn't shined with his team so far, if he does it will be more likely that he will be on the all-star team.

Nope. Even though Barbosa is an above average player, he will be overlooked, because of the talent that is in the west. Manu Ginobli would make it before he did. He definetley will be up for 6 man though.

that would desire to be a impressive team, yet i think of the suns would desire to place yet another participant and/or a draft %. for the atlanta hawks because of fact the warmth are in some variety of a rebuilding mode even in spite of the undeniable fact that they've 2 allstars in wade and marion. Basbosa and Diaw are great place gamers however the warmth want a famous person or destiny famous person for Wade. I additionally think of that because of fact the warmth have the 2d universal %. that they won't desire to commerce wade because of fact if Micheal Beasley is going to be the famous person different NBA analyst say then the warmth in 2-3 years would have there very own enormous 3 in Wade, Marion, and Beasley. possibly quite of Wade they are able to get a shooter like micheal redd or commerce up in the draft for a shooter like what the boston celtics did to get ray allen in final years draft

probably not. hes good but theres simply too much competition in the west. plus the all star votes are like a popularity contest. its hard to see barbosa beat out guys like nash, deron williams, chris paul, tony parker, baron davis, kobe,etc...
