Yes, 12 year olds can get pregnant. And it actually happened to a classmate of mine when we were in 6th grade. She was actually 11! She had a very hard and complicated pregnancy and the labor was worse. The baby, thankfully, came out healthy.

I remember thinking,how the heck did she do that?! I knew basics about sex, but not really. We were 12! for God's sake. So sad. Now 11 years later, she has three more kids I've heard and is a drug addict. Very very sad.

As long as a female has a period she can have a kid... most females don't get their cycle until around 12-14 but some do start much earlier (I've heard of an 8 or 9 year getting pregnant....). It's wierd but it happens.

Anyone that has a menstrual cycle can give birth, basically. Some girls get their periods at age 7 or 8. 12 is pretty normal to be able to be of child-bearing age. I really hope that 12 year olds aren't being sexually active though! It all starts at home.

It is very true. In America and around the world. My doctor (ob) once said he sees more 12-15 year olds who are pregnant then 16-18 year olds. Very scary if you think about it.
