New York City is wonderful, I suppose....but I have not visited NY since about 1996....and I think I generally prefer smaller cities...with the possible exception of London, because I know London well. I have been travelling a lot in Europe over the past 2 or 3 years....and I think Copenhagen was one of the best trips I have done in that time. I like cities where you can see most of the sites on foot....and Copenhagen was certainly good in that way....as a few other cities I have visited probably are, too. I have been thinking it is time I went back to Paris again, too....my mother first took me there when I was 7 years old....and it is a city I enjoy visiting.

...Boston...for Americans, this is a spiritual experience to walk the Freedom Trail and just walk among the footsteps of our forefathers...St. Louis...everything you want to do, eat, see, or dream of is in St Louis...and, New York City...I haven't been there much, but I have a vivid memory of flying in to New York on a shuttle plane (small prop plane)..about 10 yrs ago and looking down at the city was breath taking...we flew around the Twin Towers to come in for a landing and I noticed lots of other planes were doing the same one after another...I was glad that I got that experience...it's etched in my memory...those buildings were truly magnificent...it gave me a "connection" in my heart when 9/11 happened...I was able to grieve for the lives lost with greater respect
