"Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racist. The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence, not skin color, gender, or ethnicity."
This is what Ron Paul says and I agree with him. What do you think?

I think that bullshit held me up from getting to work on time today.
I also think everyone needs to just grow up and let it go. The whole Hate Crime issue is starting to step dangerously close to the line between "equal rights" and "special rights". There are already laws in place that address this sort of thing. People need to get off their butts and deal with things properly and stop whining. If someone leaves a noose or any other object that you deem offensive anywhere around your personal property, then that act is already covered under a number of laws; including vandalism, intimidation, trespassing, stalking, and assault.
Seriously. This is 2007, not 1957. If some ******** leaves a noose stuck to my office door, I'm not going to lose any sleep over the thought of some possible "racist conspiracy" or whatever. I'm going to find out who did it; take the noose in one hand and pick up a brick in the other hand; wrap that noose around the muthaf*cker's neck (and make sure it's nice and tight); and then have a nice ladylike discussion about whatever perceived disagreements we might have and why said muthaf*cker felt the need to act like an ignorant ******** instead of dealing with me directly.
Honestly, this march is not doing anything to help the black community. It's petty. All these people could just drive two hours up the road to Philly and have some sort of rally to deal with the out of control violent crime situation up there.

i individually do no longer think of we do yet once you desire them they could desire to be coloration/gender/sexual determination independent. the problem is each and every crime began via a white with a minority in contact is considered a hate crime so shouldn't any crime against a white via a minority additionally be considered one? The WV case of the black lady being held in slavery and mistreated exchange into all over the papers through fact it exchange right into a hate crime, the Justice branch, FBI and all jumped top on it in basic terms to confirm is exchange right into a enthusiasts spat and he or she exchange into the former female buddy of one the "racist" who did it. the place exchange into the FBI, Justice branch and all interior the Shannon Christian case right here-white couple that exchange into carjacked, held as prisoners, back and back raped and tortured till now they have been killed and one physique set on fireplace via a team of blacks? They in no way have been given in contact through fact there exchange into no data it exchange right into a hate crime-they have been in contact interior the learn of the WV case so why no longer this one? la rebellion after the thrashing of the black motorist exchange into yet another occasion and the police in contact wee charged with federal crimes after the state stumbled on them no longer responsible however the black rioter who hit the Asian truck motive force for being on his highway throughout the time of the rebellion and being Asian (definite he stated he did it through fact the guy exchange into Asian) exchange into in no way charged? Black Panthers with golf equipment stand outdoors a polling place over the final election and the Justice branch in DC orders the locals to drop the case and not press costs for intimidation-you think of that would have got here approximately in the event that they have been white human beings in white robes? The regulations have made a secure class the two in preserving them from harm yet in addition in preserving them from prosecution; it particularly is not equivalent protection decrease than the regulation different than for the Animal Farm version with some being greater equivalent them others. they could desire to be the two written off the books or enforced the two for all.

...Of course (sigh)
Of course people are going to think the march is blatantly stupid, but yet turn around and say Blacks never take responsibility, [edit] are always complaining, and the most popular, wanting special treatment. Be serious. This march isn't about attacking non-Blacks and hanging them from a tree like in 1800s. This isn't about enslaving non-Blacks for 300+ years so Blacks can feel rejoiced and settled, and this sure as hell isn't about appeasing YOU.
Taking responsibility. --
I think it is stupid and cowardly how people just sit on their *** and act like nothing happens, and make judgments but offer no other suggestions. Oh! Except..."go to school, get a job", which is already happening. Blacks have surpassed that and there is enough evidence of that. Stop making f'n excuses for people who are ACTUALLY racist.

i think it speaks volumes that whites did not join in. it is as if racism and hate crimes are only about black people until a white girl dating a black man, a jew, or some other race is effected by it.

I think that the fact that there is still a NEED for hate crime legislation is very sad. I recognize the need but it saddens me that it's there.
