i guess. i have a myspace account. it can be good to keep in touch with people. but it's also stalker central. it's probably best to set your profile to private once you create and account. at first when you create and account, it can get addicting by looking at other peoples profiles and pictures all day. as far as over rated...you are going to get mixed results from people. if you are a busy person, you aren't going to care much about myspace because, well, you won't have much time to sit at your personal computer and browse. if you have a lot of time on your hands, it could be pretty cool.

Facebook and Myspace are both essentially the same thing. They will take up your time, and cause you to procrastinate on more important matters if you do not keep a reign on your time management. If anything, I recommend facebook just to keep in touch with old friends if need be; so in short, NO do not open a myspace account.

I am not a fan of Myspace since it seems most of my friends get their accounts hacked and then when they send me a message, I can never tell if it is genuine or not.
When it was a new, the idea of finding old friends was novel and fun, but I am finding more and more that people are using Myspace to find sexual partner and to sell things.
I prefer Facebook, but I fear the same thing will eventually happen there.

I use myspace and the only way for you to decided is for you to go to someone that has a page there and see how it is. If you like to start a myspace page I will suggest that you first visit some of the others who have it as well and then make your decision.

Myspace is Really cool place to hang & catch up with friends you already know... Just don't start accepting people you dont know and talking to them ... not onlt is it dangerous it is also a way to get spam ALL over your page.... I love myspace... it is FUN! I would get one, it's really nice, you can decorate it and invite your friends and put pictures and things that you like, it's almost like your own little space. Keep it private, you don't want any weird creepy guys looking at it, and don't put a very sexy profile picture so it doesn't attract unwanted attention. I have facebook as well, is also nice, not as decorative but there are a lot of applications that are really cute.

I'm 32 and I have one. It's fun to keep in touch with friends you don't see everyday. I got one when I moved out of state from everyone I knew. And it's fun putting music and what ever floats your boat on the page. I agree, keep it private for your friends only, so you don't get bugged buy strangers.

i would start one and keep it up proper and if you decide its a waste of time or overrated you can always delete it. I started one so i could keep in contact with my friends because i move a lot and im not really a phone person, and i love it because its easy to use and im not addicted so its cool.

I had one, but i deleted it. It took too much of my time, it seemed like another full time job. Go for it if you have the time, everyone has one now a days so why not get one.
