Hey Maria,

i don't think Bonds will have too much of an effect on baseball attendance.

Bonds is at a stage at his career where he was bound to join a AL team and be a part-time DH. The short list of interested team: Oakland, Angels, Tigers, ... already do well with their attendance. People would pay money last year to see Bonds while he was in pursuit of the record.

Seemingly right now- his playing days may be over.

no i dont think so , barry more than likely will be retired from baseball here on out , i dont see any team willing to take a chance on him now with the indictment

i think it will especially in SF. we are still a good baseball city, and people will still come out, but not as much as before. people from all around the nation come to watch barry bonds hit HRs or to heckle him whatever they please. but bonds draws butts into seats.

I think that bone head commissioner will cause attendance to drop. We all know that we have good reason to believe that those records are made up.

no cause everyone has used barry as a scapegoat for all of steroids in baseball

if he leaves i think there will be an increased perception that the game is now clean

can you say asterick!!!!!! no hall of fame!!!! does anybody care anymore, 2yrs from now all people will be talking about is A-rod breaking the record anyway....only people who actually like Bonds is from San Fran anyway!!
