I personal love the dark ones. The darker characters have so much more details. Draw a good character and then draw an evil character. You can soften a good character only so much, before it turns into a royal pain. A darker character you can build and build until it scares you. But this of course, is all my opinion.

Pollyanna (1960) widespread characters: Pollyanna - joyful and ambitious, Jimmy Bean - satisfied-flow-fortunate and inquisitive, Reverend Ford - humble and smart, Polly Harrington - opinionated, wise and humble, Angelica the parlour maid - crusty, nasty and peevish The Happiest Millionaire I get excitement from Disney musicals.....Mary Poppins, summer season Magic, etc. yet this one completely grated on my nerves
