I already got them filled once, but I like them semi-short, and the white tips of the french nails are now too short for my liking if I would get them filled again. Can they add anything to that part if I get another fill, or do I have to get these removed and have a full set put on now?

Forever, really.

If you want the white tips to be expanded, they should be able to use a drill to dig into the clear part, then add more white acrylic to the space they have just cleaned up.

"Fills" are literally just the process of filling in the space between the acrylic and your cuticle as your nail grows out. If they are too short, just let them grow a bit and when you get your next fill ask that they not shorten the length at all. Some nail techs can add to length of your nails if you ask. There is no need to get a full set put on again.

i get mine filled every three weeks. some people go one or two but i last three. i have had my nails on since i was 14 and now i am 24. next time you get them filled just tell them not to cut them-they shouldnt grow that much-then you will have more of the white part of the french manicure style. if you get them removed-which i dont recommend, yes they would have to put a whole new set on-more money for them....i would just let them grow a little longer then you will adjust to the length and you will like the appearance of the french better.

i've got performed it myself. It helps once you're ambidextrous, because you're able to desire to apply a small paintbrush to coach the fabric when you have softened the cuticle and pushed them decrease back with an orange stick and tough the uncovered part of the organic nail with an emery board (and confirm you get the antiseptic, anti-fungal stuff so which you do not get an infection). you in addition to could could desire to be particularly careful through fact the acrylic lumps in case you do it incorrect, so that then you will desire a nail clip (no longer nail clippers, those are pointed snips that look like small pointy-tipped snub-nosed pliers). The you're able to desire to apply a coarse emery board to comfortable the nail, then you utilize a definite 3-area buffer. I certainly could recommend you get them crammed (and painted). the value of initiate-up on the supplies could be prohibitive. call around top now and see in case you won't have the capacity to discover some place to do a fill. merely pay attention for the mall shops -- I particularly have had captivating nail jobs thoroughly destroyed via those women!

I'm a guy, and privately, I don't like long nails. I actually know a lot of like long, painted nails cause they're "so pretty", but I don't like them.

A little bit of toe nail is fine... but I agree along with you. Long nails are kinda gross.

They will give you a fill, and then paint on the white.
