Let me start by saying, I am not racist, and personally have no problem with the Chinese in general. I do have a problem with the toy manufacturers sending our kids poisonous toys, but am even more angry at the American government for allowing it to happen.
Brings to mind a conspiracy theory my crazy uncle has. For years he has not eaten Chinese food. His claim was that they are trying to kill us! Of course we just laughed at him, but now I'm not so sure he's off base.
Thoughts?

Hey, let's face it. Everyone is trying to kill us. No one likes us. We are the big, dumb bully on the playground. We need to take our toys and go home until we can play nice. Until then other countries are going to hate Americans even more.

No, it's just a product of a global economy.
There's really no secret here. How do you think Walmart sells stuff so cheap? Manufacturers and buyers meet, compromise on the lowest bid, and then make cheap goods. Our government cannot regulate the manufacturers in another country. International trade is not controlled by our government. Walmart can buy from any manufacturer in or outside China. Taking shortcuts is what make production so cheap for the Chinese manufacturers.
This goes to show you get what you pay for. Cheap = crap. Especially when it comes from another country - you cannot blame them for not giving a crap about our safety standards, this is not their role. It should be done by the American buyers and distributers - but they won't because it will cost them too much. It's easier politically for Walmart to blame China for it when they themselves did not inspect the inventory they were buying and selling to unknowing American consumers.
There is no agenda here - it's just business as usual. It only seems like a conspiracy to those who don't understand how it works. To quote GI JOE cartoons "Knowing is half the battle".
Anyway, I personally dislike the Chinese culture. I lived in Japan for years and love the Japanese!

It's interesting, but I used to know a guy who thought that the Chinese had a secret military network of spies staffed at Chinese restaurants around the country. It sounded amusing as a theory at first, but then I realized:
1) Do I really know for certain that this ISN'T the case? and...
2) I'm a complete and total slave to kung pao chicken, almost as if it has an addictive, irresistable quality to it.
So who knows. Good question!

I still like Chinese food. In Canada our government has signed quite a big deal with China to use our Athabasca Tar sands and they are really using this oil big time with tankers on the coast of British Columbia. China now is in their glory like we were 40 years ago. Their manufacturing is going full throttle.
I don't think they want to kill Americans as the American can do this very well themselves.

Its been no secret to me. I've known about their plan for years. I have a friend who's half Chinese (his father was born in China) and so he has access to a whole world of sorts that us everyday Americans have no idea about. He told me tales of the filthy Chinese restaurants, and of all of the horrible and evil things that are being done right under our noses. This recent toy epidemic is only phase two of their plan, or at least its only the second phase that I know about. I wonder what else they're up to.

Nah it doesn't meant that chinese have secret agenda or something with the poisonous toys. You need to understand that China is vast and price is its competitive advantage. That's why many companies can get away by using dangerous material and they don't mind doing so to push down cost. Because the country is vast and corruption is still rampant, there's little QC done to check the quality of the goods.
And why would they wanna kill you>

relies upon on the conspiracy thought. greater often than no longer I particularly tend to have faith the standard concept held via maximum folk - i think of the thought that asserts 9-11 exchange into an interior activity is honestly ludicrous as an occasion. If the assumption exchange into compelling adequate i could have faith it - yet as of top now, i've got no longer considered a conspiracy thought yet that i discover greater compelling and precise than the standard held rationalization. having stated that, i'm considered one of those weirdo Christians who exhibits evolution to be possible :) Peace!

LOLOL. Look, If they wanted to do anything, they could. We have sold almost all our shares to China to pay for the war. They basically own us now. So if they wanted to do something, we cant do anything about it. I personally think its because they are being cheap. But your uncle is a fool. Lol poison Chinese food...He is acting like all Chinese have some sort of hive mind
