I would build my on. I think you would save a great deal of money building it yourself. They have a shed a Home Depot for $10,000 and I priced out the materials for about $3,500

I can't say for sure in Ireland, but I can tell you my experience in Illinois, USA. I found that the purchase price was only a little more than the build price. I built it myself anyway because my shed is better built. If you have 2 or 3 days to invest, I'd recommend building it yourself. If time is an issue, just buy it.

Depends on the number and size of items you wish to store, the location of the shed on the property, the building codes( if any) in your town and possible zoning restrictions as to size.Unless one is skilled with tools, it is best to buy from a shed dealer who will deliver to and erect on site. Just scribe out the site with stakes and let him do the rest..no muss, no mess, no fuss and you know the quality represented by the seller.

Have you priced sheds at Home Depot or Lowes? They're so expensive! If you have the tools and the abilities, build your own. Then you can have as little or as much room as you need, can customize shelving, etc.

Definitely buy one. We built ourselves, and in the end you don't save money over the pre-built kits at places like Home Depot and Rona. If you buy the kits, you will need to assemble it yourself and also buy and put on siding and shingles, so you have to be somewhat handy. If you aren't then just buy the whole thing pre-built.

If you are good at it then build yourself. It does save a little money but if you are not very good then def buy one.
