My grandmother-in-law wants to buy my baby a swing for xmas. She already has an infant swing but she says this is something called a toddler swing. She says it's a swing on a frame similar to the infant swing in that way but it looks more like an outdoor swing but it is for indoors and it's for toddlers not infants... Has anyone ever heard of this? She said she found it in a store but I've never seen anything like it and I think it might be something made years and years ago they don't make anymore. If someone could send me a link of one that would be great or share a recent experience with it. I just wanna get an idea of what this is since I can't find one in any baby store.

It doesn't go in a doorway (I know this because I mentioned it to her because the area it is going in has no frame for it). It's on a frame.

sounds like she is talking about a fisher price type swing for toddlers--it has a wide plastic frame and one of those plastic seat swings on it. you can use indoors or out.

We have a similar one for my daughter and she loves it on rainy days or when I am to lazy/busy to go to the park.

Hope this answers your question.
