The nearest thing to what you are asking is Gawadar its a coastal town in the Balochistan Province of Pakistan across the sea is Muscat. I have never heard of a Herb or Medicine by that name.

Well, it seems that this one is also neither.... the top 10 hits in a Yahoo search for "Gawdar" pull up a few things in the area in and around Asia. There's a housing development, something in Pakistan, and a port somewhere.... but there's no mention of herb or drug at all. Are you sure you spelled this one right?
