Do you mean what we, as a country, should do? Or what we, as individuals, should do?

As a country, we should stop supporting the oppressors against the oppressed, and start helping the oppressed.

As citizens, we should vote, and use human rights as a primary criterion for HOW we vote. Know which candidates for federal offices support human rights; and which support the op pressers.

Also, help the human rights groups that are fighting on the side of the oppressed: Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and many other groups are trying to make things better. They need people's time and money.

Let your elected representatives know where you stand: If you stand by oppression, you lose my vote.

IMHO there are waaayyy too many people on the planet. If we had about 10% of the current number taking care of ourselves and each other would be much easier. Stabilizing all governments and providing education for everyone (especially women) would do allot to curb reproduction rates, but of course the world's governments, religious leaders, and business leaders would rather continue to encourage overpopulation and high reproduction rates so life can remain cheap and chaotic for the masses. As one unremarkable individual all I can think to do is encourage and strive to exemplify rational thought and compassion and wait for some general enlightenment to come from somewhere.

Nothing that will impede OUR civil liberties...definitely. I want to make sure that I can get on an airplane without being stopped. Like, parking lot, gate, jet-way, seat.

We'll need to sit down and talk with everyone, making sure diplomacy is the only way. Everyone knows that war is not the answer, and eventually, people will come to see it our way. There is no real evil in the world, just countries (like us) that MAKE people behave in an evil manner.

Next, we'll have to raise taxes in America to combat Worldly oppression. We just make too much money over here.

We can't get in the way of the UN, especially the IAEA. They know what they're doing and have been accomplishing a stellar job in making the Middle East safer for women, gays and non-Muslims.

We should probably leave our borders wide open though, so that these people can escape their current conditions and come here for free. I doubt very much that any of our enemies will be able to exploit that same hole though.

We should have to surrender our own sovereignty in a show of support.

No more oil too. We have food here that we're not using, so we can burn that up into fuel for cars. We'll just have to figure something else out for fuel oil, heating oil, lubricants, paints, plastics, textiles and all other carbon based goods.
