Well .. People are dying everywhere ... Let me ask you a question... (Without having 5 points deducted)

If you WEREN'T on yahoo answers what would you be doing? And whatever you answer .. Whatever else you'd be doing it wouldn't help the dying people in Bangladesh either ... Sorry it's just the truth

It makes me feel sad that people are dying in Bangladesh, but happy that I live here and not in Bangladesh.

They're dying by the thousands in India, China and Africa which is well over 1/2 of the world's population. How does that make you feel and what could you do about it anyway is the way I look at it.

To the person who says they have chosen not to participate in war, I think the question was referencing the hurricane that went through Bangladesh.

And now my answer...I feel bad for the people. Other than donate to a charity, I'm not sure what else I can do from Florida.

About the same way I did when told to eat all my food because there are starving kids in Africa.

Namely "how does that help?" Or on point with your question "I'm supposed to be working here, I don't have time to institute world peace."

Whether or I was on answers or not, there are thousands of people dying around the world right now.

Most people are either Individualists ["I'm just one person, what can I possibly do?"] or just plain Ignorant ["It isn't my problem."]. There are not as many people that are Enlightened ["I may be able to make a difference."], and even fewer Compassionate ["I put myself to make a difference."]

Though I could make a good difference, I can't be bothered. I can make a decent difference here, by giving advice to people to help them.
