Why do people pass judgement on people who smoke pot so easily?

Granted.
There are alot of very screwed up, irresponsible people out there. And some of them do smoke marjijuana.

But there are alot of people like me. Who smoke weed on a daily basis.. Are still happy contributing memebers of society. Hold great jobs, Have happy familys, drive nice trucks..

and the fact that i smoke, only makes me a happier more accepting relaxed person.

Yet so many people, especially on here,
talk crap, or judge me. or call me names.


but the thing of it is..


i dont pass judgement on you guys.. for any reason.


And i have lived the sober life. After college i was sober for several years.

I have decided since i am settled and successful and i family man. that i can smoke again. So i do. Everday.


But none of you have been in my shoes.. so how can you pass judgement on me

is taht so roadhazzard.


i highly doubt that..

maybe alot of junkies who overdosed..

probally some ppl who overdosed on Pills.


But i call BS when you say you dealt with stoners as an EMT.

Stoners dont overdose.

they dont get in car accidents( quite the contrary.. they drive like old ppl.)

The people that hate on pot-heads have never smoked. They equate marijuana use with other, harsher drugs like cocaine, meth, heroine, etc. This is the result of the government's War on Drugs and the years of propaganda that it has put out.

Edit: Dude, I'm on your side. I didn't call you a meth addict. I simply tried to answer your question. I guess you didn't get the point. Let me spell it out for you. Try not to be so defensive. Look, the government, for years has been brainwashing it's citizens that ALL drugs are bad. They don't say that pot is bad, but Meth is much, much worse. They simply say that if you do ANY illegal narcotic, you are a criminal and you also are a drug addicted loser. The government does not discriminate against any drug in particular. Most people follow blindly the word of their elected government officials, and in turn, equate the use of Mary Jane with the use of other illegal narcotics.

For the same reason I pass judgment on those who habitually get drunk, stoned etc..... Do society a favor if you can't handle real life stay out of our sight. Don't need to have ever been in your shoes, I had to deal with people like you for 10 years as an EMT.

How was I spending so much time with people like you ? Simple more than 2/3's of the calls that a Fire Department responds to are not fire related i.e. medical aids etc.... so consequently I got to spend many hours with the dregs of society. I gained additional insight into your world by having a brother who never met a drug he wouldn't take from Marijuana on up. Perhaps you are as you claim to be, if that's truly the case then you are the exception to the rule.

I agree completely. I smoke pot pretty much everyday. Not at work, not when I've got something important to do that requires my full attention. But when I'm home relaxing, it's the same as those who come home and have a beer. People need to wake up and see that pot is not a dangerous drug and is just a means of recreation for those who choose to do so. If you don't, fine by me I don't force it on anyone, I'd never smoke it around a child but me myself I enjoy it and should be free to do so.

I don't know maybe because it was a stupid *** like you that killed my best friend and her 6 month old son because they were driving there nice truck home from the good job and just happen to been high on pot when they smashed into her at 75 mph at a red light.

Also ask my sister how it was raising two kids while her pot smoking deadbeat husband sat his *** in prison for a year because he T-boned a cop car and almost killed the cop because he was driving his car home from his job high on pot.

Ask a friend of mine who lost everything because he and his wife started smoking pot and ended up doing CRANK. They lost their house both cars he lost his job two kids wife and many friends. Not to mention his means of employment his tools all $15000 worth of them. Last time I heard he went from making $65,000 a year to making $10 an hour because of was a convicted felon.

I will pass judgment on whoever I please.

Do I think pot is as big a problem as other drugs. No I do not. You do not see pot head out robbing and killing people they just do other stupid things. But it is still illegal and what about your kids when you go to jail for possession and they now are suffering because you need to Chill out after work everyday. Think about the years you are taking off your life by smoking everyday.

It's called standards. I love people like you who mis-use the word judgment constantly. There is nothing wrong with people expecting a certain standar level of behavior from society. It is your business what you do in your home as long as it doesn't effect anyone. But for the most part (you have to admit) most people who smoke daily have problems with mood swings or can't function.

If you're being truthful then good for you, but I seriously doubt its all roses in your home.
