Liberals are at risk in trading their rationale for emotion.
Recently members of the radical left have been spewing emotional, but intellectually unsound ideas instead of rational debate. If their fellow liberals conform to this trend, they risk compromising their own credibility.
Some leftists demonize specific groups while many others prefer to lay blame at the United States. This is especially common in universities. Dr. Noam Chomsky, an M.I.T. Professor, claims the purpose of U.S. forces in Afghanistan is to "murder 3 to 4 million people." He describes the Afghanistan conflict as a "silent genocide." Chomsky also professes that the U.S. role in the Cold War was to "pick up where the Nazi's left off." All of these claims are gross distortions.
Chomsky's conclusions come from small truths that have been magnified to produce a collage of American malevolence.
Student groups on campuses have often taken equally one-sided approaches. During a recent demonstration at Cornell Univ., an American flag was defaced and the Founding Fathers slandered as "cheats, rapists, and murderers." One student fumed George Washington was a "terrorist."
Clearly emotions took over rational thought.
Until these liefest, from the race mongers to the conspiracy theorists, and Anti-Americans recognize the error of their ways, it will continue to hinder real progress, dialogue and fairness.

"and no health care is not one of them or else the canadians and the biritish would not come here for medical and dental work, try again."

My republican father needed a root canal a few years back. The dentist in San Antonio, TX said it would cost $1500.00. My father got his tooth pulled instead for $250.00.

My son just recently need a root canal. His father took him to Mexico and got it done. Total cost for a root canal in Mexico was $125.00 and my son is doing just fine. No more pain and he still has his tooth.

I call this practical and is it based on feelings, perhaps, but yet it is also based on good reasoning and seeking out the facts before doing anything.

properly, there are a pair of issues at the same time with your question: a million. you're insinuating that maximum Liberals advise communism interior the U.S., that's absurd. At maximum, we advise gentle socialism like we've continually had. 2. Communism hasn't failed everywhere, witness China, Vietnam, and Cuba. even nevertheless, they have adapted the unique ideals to slot their desires, and their present day hybrid of communism/socialism seems to be working for them. North Korea ought to doubtlessly paintings in the event that they did no longer have a tyrannical chief.

Liberals argue facts and logic. Cons argue emotionally. You can tell by all the name calling and irrelevant responses that are purely emotional.

The fact that most Cons oppose gay marriage is an emotional belief, because logic and rational thinking tells you that gay marriage will have ZERO affect on anyone outside the gay community. They can't separate reason from emotion.

Liberals are educated. Most libs can back up their statements and beliefs with solid reasons and evidence. Most Cons only back up their beliefs with insults and hear-say.

You do know that the founding fathers were liberal by definition don't you? That's a lot closer to our ideology than "Cuba"

What has the right brought us recently other than McCarthyism and now Modern Day McCarthyism (fear terrorists among us instead of Communists)?

No, liberals are more likely to agree with basic science observation and concensus on issues such as anthropogenic global warming and evolution. Fringe liberals are often in denial about gender issues and do focus on feelings despite clear evidence. Conservatives are more interested in faith and made up principles, even when they go against facts. They have been demonstrated by studies to be less able to comfortably cope with change. So I would say that most faith based conservatives and many far left liberals are led astray from reality by their feelings.

Not at all. There have been several studies and polls that show that Liberals "read" more than Conservatives. That would most likely that it is Liberals whose thoughts are more directed by facts while Conservatives are more likely to be driven by feelings.

UP is DOWN!!!!! Here you go, mistaking Conservatives for Libs again. All academic thought is liberal in nature, whether it's lef-liberal or libertarian. Conservatives are emotional beasts.
