There is always a chance you can get pregnant. Especially without protection. Usually if you are late but not pregnant, it's becuase you're stressing about it. Try to relax and calm down. If you still don't start in a couple of days, take another test.
The results could also vary depending on what test you are taking. I have found that EPT or ClearBlue are the best and most accurate.
If you are pregnant, there could be a chance that you could spot a little the first month but normally you won't have your full period. There are rare cases where women have there periods every month while they are pregnant, but it is rare.
Good Luck!
I wanted to add that last year i asked my doctor how soon you can take a test after conception and she said to wait 10 days after conception and the results will usually be accurate.

No, not if you have a normal, regular cycle. You ovulate 14 days before your next period. The egg is viable for about three days. Sperm can live inside a woman for about three days. This means there is a window of about six days right in the middle of your cycle when you can get pregnant. The delay in starting your period is more likely due to nerves, worrying about pregnancy. There are over-the-counter pregnancy tests that are quite reliable that you can use when you are only four days pregnant. Read the packages to find the right ones if you decide to do one.
Edit: Actually it IS known when women ovulate. It ALWAYS happens exactly 14 days prior to the next period. You cannot get pregnant at just "any time during your cycle"

If you had sex 2 days before your period start time, you should get pregnant. As doctors say there is a safe bracket of 14 days if you have 28 days cycle. Considering the fact that you are having period on the first of every month. After these 14 days all the days are unsafe. So, you should get pregnant. But if you have gone for pregnancy test and the results are negative, do not worry. Wait for a month and check whether you get your periods or not. May be there is still chance.
If you miss your period, then it is a good sign and it is possible that you are pregnant.
Let us know if it helps. We wish you lucked for getting pregnant soon.

Yes... you can get pregnant even during your period. Your just MOST fertile while ovulating. Some women stop having periods after conception, some have one or two still, and some even continue throughout their pregnancies. So you can't REALLY count on your period being the answer to whether or not your pregnant. You need to wait about 3 weeks after when you think you conceived or possibly conceived to take a pregnancy test. If you want to find out earlier than that.. then you'll need to go to a doctor and have a blood test done.
Hope this helps... good luck and God bless.

Its not likely that you would get pregnant only 2 days prior to your period. You should be well past ovulation, but it COULD happen. You're probably late because you are so stressed over the thought of pregnancy. If that was the ONLY time you had sex last month, its not likely that you are pregnant.
If you don't want a child, DO NOT have unprotected sex at all. Use a condom or use birth control EVERY TIME.

I got pregnant 2 days before my period, missed that period but the test was negative for 3 weeks afterwards. Thought something was wrong and went to the doctor - found out there. :)

No way, there is no chance of getting pregnant, if your period is regular and if you want to become pregnant
the first day of your period is day 1 and till day 12 you start having intercourse from day12 to day 16, in these days will be your ovulation and you will become pregnant for sure.best of luck

no, you wont get pregnant. i highly doubt you will be ovulating that close to your period being you have a normal cycle. ovulation would be about two weeks prior to a period. wait another couple days for your period, if you had sex on another occation maybe pregnancy happend but you should wait a couple more days before re testing

Very likely. The cause for that is considering the fact that sperm lives as much as 3 to five days. I am now 5 months pregnant, and condom broke sooner or later before ovulation day, so i took the day after pill, and that didnt work for me. However then again it wasnt my first time taking it, so maybe thats why. Attempt to take it ASAP if you wish to prevent being pregnant. If will not be your first time taking the tablet inside six months, it proboably wont work.
