I'd be ok with it and comfortable. I have a friend who is HIV positive who has held my children, whom we've eaten dinner with etc. We aren't exchanging body fluids, so I feel perfectly comfortable.

I would feel very comfortable around people with hiv as i know some and it is not like they are trying to get you ill some people with this disease will talk to you about it if you are sure that you can handle the info and dont be afraid to ask questions. I asked and got a lot of feedback from the people saying how they were afraid I would shun them like other friends did and once you get the facts straight you should feel more at ease.

I'd feel perfectly comfortable. I have friends who are HIV-positive. My brother has a roommate who's HIV-positive. You can't catch the virus by sharing plates, cups, utensils. You can't catch it by using the same toilet or sitting next to them on a couch. Please do your research on HIV and remember that even though they have this virus, they are still people who deserve respect.

I'm very comfortable. Unless you're exchanging "bodily fluids" with that person, you're perfectly safe. One of my co-workers was HIV-positive for quite a few years before he died and we never gave it a second thought.

I wouldn't feel uncomfortable if it happened accidently ...i know that you can't get HIV from those situations, BUT even knowing that, I wouldn't intentionally drink from the same cup or anything. I feel bad saying that, but its just the truth.

If they were my friend, then i probably would try to get over it and accept it. I would still be really careful though about it, and would probably act a bit uncomtforble.

I don't have a problem with it. We all know that it can't be spread like that. As long as your not having unprotected sex with them or thinking about becoming blood brothers than you shouldn't worry.

I'd be fine with it, I'm not having sex with them or sharing any needles and if they are a friend then I would be confident that they wouldn't purposely try & infect me!

I'd probably be slightly nervous, to be honest. But I wouldn't refuse to ever have any contact with them over it.
