my maid made a disinfectant of windex mixed with bleach so i sprayed it on my black granite countertops and now the granite has lost it's shine. i immediately cleaned it with the normal stuff i use and everytime it drys it has a dull look versus the old look. what can i do to bring back the shine. is this normal?

i always use windex antibacterial

try and buff it out with a good car wax.

Granite can only be cleaned with either a warm soapy water solution, then dried or a ph balanced product. Anything else will dull your finish. You should ask what to do to regain your shine at your local stone store or a Home Depot or Lowes. It may be as simple as resealing and waxing it.

Only use water and mild soap on granite counter tops. Never bleach or other chemicals or abrasives. I don't know how to get the shine back. Sorry

You should have not used bleach that, and it may have damaged it, depending on the type you have, sometimes using a mild soap and water can bring it back , if not you just did a no no.
