Any of these could make a good punch line. Just make
up a story and use these at the end. Good luck!
A good DAN is hard to find.
A little knowledge is a DANgerous thing.
Behind every great DAN there's a great woman!
Better safe, DAN, sorry.
Cool DAN, warm heart.
Don't bite the DAN that feeds you.
Early to bed and early to rise makes a DAN healthy, wealthy, and wise.
Every DAN has his price.
DAN does not live by bread alone.
etc., ad nauseum...

Dan if I know - I dan think I can come up with one.
How about this:
There once was a male model named Dan who couldn't get a job, until one day a gig for dairy products came up. He jumped at the chance and not only nailed the part, but the ad campaign with him laying across the product became so popular that they named it after him. You may have seen it - Dan -on - yogurt?

Uhm, a pun is a play on words. It is like a word having two different intended meanings. Therefore I do not see how you can put a pun on the name "Dan". An example would be to use son as not only son but also sun. Like there's a religious camp I've heard of called Camp Sonshine. Get it? Son of God, but also it's intended meaning is "happy" and "bright" and "welcoming".

PUN
Pronunciation: \ËpÉn\
Function: noun
Etymology: perhaps from Italian puntiglio fine point, quibble — more at punctilio
Date: 1662
: the usually humorous use of a word in such a way as to suggest two or more of its meanings or the meaning of another word similar in sound
How would you make a pun of "Dan" without changing the word?
i.e., "Just Dan-dy".
Maybe: "God Dan it!"

How abouit 'Dan dan dan dan' (Tune to Dragnet TV series.)
In England in the 1950's and 60's there used to be a comic book hero named Dan Dare, who was a spacemen. One day he landed on Earth and boasted to his sidekick "You know, everyone here knows who I am."
"No, I don't believe you." Said his friend, "Anyway it's two o'clock in the morning and there's nobody about. It's easy for you to say that now."
"OK," Said Dan. "I'll bet you that the next person we meet will know my name."
"You're on." Said his friend.
With that Dan knocked loudly on the nearest house door. The upstairs window opened and a sleepy Jamaican stuck his head out and shouted "Hello, Dan Dare!"
