I like Lestat better, because Louis is rather whiny. However, Louis actually has a conscience, whereas Lestat did not have anything that even resembled one for a long time. More of Anne Rice's books centre around Lestat as well, so it is easier to relate to him, seeing as we know far more about him.

Most definitely Lestat, I cannot stand how whiny Louis is! He is always complaining about wanting to be mortal and blah blah blah...Lestat owns being a vampire, and is much more comfortable with himself. His story is also much more interesting, I understand that Louis is essential to the plot, but sometimes I just want him to go away.

Lestat. I like him more in Queen of the Damned.

Lestat, because he knew what being a Vampire was all about and didn't try to be something he wasn't. Also because he was portrayed by Tom Cruise in the movie adaptation of Interview With The Vampire, so I'm a little biased.

Well Louis is a better person. He has more compassion than Lestat. But hes kind of mopey

Lestat. I always like he personality. Lestat embraced being a vampire so much. Its hard to see him as a regular human.

Lestat because he became a rocker and lived life to his fullest. He also became a powerful Vampire.

Lestat, he's not so bloody -whiney-.
If I could pick others, you've got to go with Dracula, of Bram Stoker. There's a reason he became the arch-type for an entire horror species.

i honestly like louis better due to the fact that he doesn't forget of where he came from and what led him to become what he became. he tries to protect people even through he needs them to survive, but drinks the blood of the animal to spare the lives of human. he tends to looks at the beauty of nature and never forgets the last time he saw the sun set. louis althrough he sounds as he is complaining he is actually appeciating and helping those that might fall into what he fell into.
lestat however is the the complete opposite of louis always blaming this person for happening to him, he never got the chance to be who he was to be. never appeciates nothing, not even the girl that him and louis adopted. he doesn't appeciated nature or the people because to him its their fault as well.
i guess in someways we are like both of them, there are some of us are like louis and the other ones are like lestat.
we tend to look at beauty and appeciated and there's others that don't and blame everyone for every mistake that comes our way. allof us just have to learn that we choose our distiny and no one ever chooses it for us. i personally choose to be like louis because someday it will all be gone for us.
