didnt make a move cause you were already in a relationship?
And the person was giving you Mad Play and Eye contact as well.

1. How did you feel inside about that decision you made?

2. When was the last time you that's happened?

The lyrics are deep!! lead me to think how many (Women have been in this situation)

Uh oh, sounds like trouble is brewing... Yes, I've been there and done that then came back again. The grass always looks greener on the other side, in some cases, it might eve be that way. For a while anyway.

The main thing is not hurting the person you are in a relationship with. Breaking up hurts and is hard to do, but you dont want to find yourself in a compromising position and guilty. If you feel like things are slipping, be honest and take that needed time away. Dont worry about the consequences or how its gonna end up because thats the point of the time away.

I know from personal experience. The other person will be hurt, but will (or should) respect your choice. My ex bf and I carried on a 700 mile relationship for 3 months. It was hard to go from seeing each other everyday to none at all. His phone bill was over 3 grand. When I came back for Christmas break, we broke up. When I got back in March, he told me about some girls he'd messed with, but I couldnt be mad because he respected me enough to let me go before anything happened.

I messed up when the situation you stated above happened to me. And I cheated, then everything fell apart. He was like, all you had to do was tell me you wanted some space. So I said all that to say, just be honest and respectful. The rest will fall into place.

Nice to see you back BTW, missed your presence

wow.. one of my favorite Erykah Badu songs... crazy, but it happens alot to women, and i;m sure men too.

Last time that happened was quite recently, but it wasn't a stranger. A person I;ve known a long timeand already have mad love for and he finally stepped up, and it's not good timing....

I don't feel no kind of ways about the decision I made, which was to do nothing, because I am with someone now that I care about, and loyalty is in my nature, so I fight desire and curiosity and all the what if's, and settle with just daydreaming sometimes.

Dude'll always be my friend tho. So even if we never get past a friendship, I guess I'll see him next lifetime.

here's a scenario for ya. I got out of a 6 year relationship with my 2 kids father. he's not mature enough & together enough 2 take care of us. iv decided to look else where after a year of taking care of things on my own. i want someone & im ready to look. i found someone great. were not together or anything but he lites me up inside. then comes the ex saying how he's really sorry about everything & wants to know what he can do to change. & if he does what he needs to do & steps up, is there a chance for us in the future? now im stuck in the middle of two people and i dont know which way to go.

YES!!!
OMG, and I LOVE that song and how appropriate you should bring this up.

I know I've met the person whose rib I am(and as much as I love my babies' daddy, and even though we are about to FINALLY be married, I am not his rib)...everything about me and this other dude is perfect for each other-faith, interests, dislikes, musical tallent, gifts, spiritual callings...but he has a wife, and I'm engaged. Both of us are really hurt that all we can be right now is friends, but we know we are doing the right thing by doing what we know we need to do, and are trusting God to take care of the rest.

This is very, very, VERY recent.

Listen... I told my woman that if either Sade or Anita Baker gives me the green light ... I'm gone.

I believe in truth in relationships.... I let her know where she stands and she carefully screen my mail and keeps tabs on those singers whereabouts.
