There are a number of breeds that are considered exotic. Most also carry an exotic price tag. If a large cat is what you are interested in, a Maine C*is a large cat, sometimes around 30 pounds. ( have provided a link, as the forum puts the spelling of this cat's breed in asterisks.) But if you visit almost any shelter, you will save the life of the cat you would adopt, and that kind of love transcends any other consideration.

We have a multi-species family: 4 cats, 5 rats (1 is hairless), 4 fish, 1 mouse, 1 guinea pig & 1 dwarf hamster. Oh yeah, 2 humans ;-)
Most of our little ones are rescues. We were fostering a Golden Retriever for awhile but he's back with his family now.

I have two small dogs, a Chihuahua/Terrier mix and a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher mix, four 'Domestic shorthair' cats, and three snakes. A Ball python, a Rosy boa, and a Corn snake. All of them are incredibly sweet natured (yes, even the snakes) and I love them all more than I can say. :)

What about you? What do you have?

Good luck!
