Ummmm.......the wind is pushing their leaves and branches. The trees aren't doing anything.

Trees don't blow. Trees don't move unless there is a force that moves it. Air that flows is wind. The wind is a force of air that can make the leaves and trees move.

Because the energy of motion carried by the wind is transferred to the tress when the objects in motion (molecules of'air') encounter the object at rest (the tree)
