Hillary Clinton has been in the Yahoo front page headline non-stop since the debate ended. Every other news article has cycled in and out of circulation, but she remains there perpetually. I think that pretty-much answers the question of Yahoo's political aims.

Your thoughts?

Bill J, I whole-heartedly disagree. Yahoo is undoubtedly and decidedly liberal in it's leanings (such as the 'going green' promotion they ran in Answers). Yahoo's headlines are filled with anything that supports the liberal cause or paints the Republicans in a bad way. If you think Yahoo is leaning to the 'right,' then you're so far 'left' you might fall off the planet.

And, for the record, I am neither Conservative nor Liberal. I hate them both (but I hate Liberals more).

I am a rationalist, which means I ascribe to politics that make sense, which neither highly-funded party does.

I think it has less to do with Yahoo, than it has to do with "The US Media" in general.

She has been all over everybody's front pages. She's getting more coverage than any other candidate, which seriously chaps my hide. My belief is that it's the Republican Party (read "Newscorp") working behind the scenes to make everyone believe that she's really the best Democratic nominee, since they know she's not electable. The Republicans want us all to think that the Democrats support her, so that when it comes to the general election, the Republican candidate will look more appealing.

I have never quite understood Yahoo. One day they have something that makes my skin crawl, thinking it is ultra conservative, and the next it seems to be the most liberal media on the planet. I still haven't made up my mind, and probably never will with Yahoo. I am just wondering if Yahoo might come closest to stradling the political lines. Supposedly, Media is supposed to be non-biased. Yeah, and the moon is really made of green cheese.

Duh! Yahoo is part of the media, and that makes them liberal almost by definition. Fox News is the exception that proves the rule.

EDIT:

Oh, are you suggesting they are covering Hillary in a negative manner? That's what bill j seems to have inferred from your question.

ANOTHER EDIT:

Thanks, As Real As It Gets. I thought bill j was off base. Yahoo is liberal, but I love Yahoo, anyway!

And I'm fairly moderate, a right of center Libertarian, but I don't hate conservatives or liberals. I do fear the liberals, though.

Yes Yahoo leans to the right and ABC, NBC, CBS, and MSNBC lean to the left. Trouble is they all leaned so far to the left they fell down.
