I got a long cut in my index finger , Even after stiches removed . some swollwn and red is still after month?

Sounds like it isn't really healed yet. Is it still open at all? Watch it close for any red streaks that might run from it!! It really might be a good idea to have your Doctor look at it again. You feel silly running to a Doctor for a sore finger, but it is better safe then sorry. If nothing else, call your Doc and ask the nurse if it should be seen again. Make sure you are being extra careful to keep it clean. Hope it heals OK.

Sounds like a possible infection. Try triple antibiotic ointment for a few days to see if it clears up.
