It seems like the franchise has reached a new low. I think James Dolan should step aside too. Red Holzman must be turning over in his grave.

i think they should get rid of both. marbury isnt a good pg and is the epitome of the knicks team - an overvalued player who can't do much if he's not scoring... i think they need to get rid of isaiah thomas more though. it's his fault the team is so bad. he folded under pressure and kept acquiring big-name, but overvalued, players who need the ball in their hands to be effective (q rich, marbury, curry, tim thomas, jalen rose, francis, etc) in moves to try and appease knicks fans in the short-run... by getting all these overpaid players, he also made a bad knicks team the most expensive one in the NBA, when it would have been cheaper to develop talent in-house instead of reaping the benefits from other teams.

Absolutely. They are only tarnishing the team further. Even if you forget about all the off the court stuff, look at how bad they are and how high the salaries are. Something has to change and I believe you are righht. They need to make the change now so they have some momentum going into the end of the season.
EDIT: Also, since when is it okay to just walk out on your team. I think they should have never put up with Marbury's temper tantrum.

Stephon because he is a Major ball hog. Isiah cause he doesn't know what he is doing. Larry Brown because he is getting to old and his health is a factor. James Dolan because he plain just doesn't know how to make good decisions and run a team. SO i think Dolan, Marbury, Isiah, and Larry should ALL go.

Honestly, I think they should get rid of both. There's a rumor floating about that James Dolan is travelling West and that Isaiah Thomas's job is in "severe jeopardy". The team has really been trashed, and I think it'll take a lot to get it back on the right track, getting rid of blockhead Thomas and anemic Starbury is just the start.

If they want to improve their image, then yes, they should get rid of both the coach and the player causing their image to be so tarnished.
Dolan should sell his team now if he wants to get a good deal out of it too, because the way he is running the Knicks, they will NEVER make it back to anything higher than the second round of the playoffs, and thats if the impossible happens (aka they, as eight seed, beats the first seed).

yes and I should get a check in the mail from the franchise for being a fan.
i HATE the fact that i was so hyped up for this season and was impressed the first few games with randolph and curry and the team ball they were actually playing.
And then the drama happens...
When Isaiah had his harassment charges i said at least its before the season starts... yeah well Knicks fans get crapped on again. Just like Jordan crapped on us, just like Miller crapped on us ...now were' just crapping on ourselves.

Both of them should be gone from here. I sick of the Knicks being the laughing stock of the NBA.
