It's like they care more about their 'team' winning and their rival losing than they do about the country. The candidates know this and they play into this. Maybe this is why all of the front runners on both sides are complete morons?

Well i do not Football so that is the end of that. But i agree with you about the morons on both sides.So many people vote by affiliation of party than for the person. that has always been the problem.

because most of the voters are complete morons and that is who they want representing them. Actually most people have much more respect for their football teams than their political parties.

Because American politics has become a sporting event. Just like the legal system and justice. Look at Simpson, Hilton, Spears, Lohan.......and the rest. Politics has become a spectator sport.

You don't need to look any further than the 2000 and 2004 Presidential elections for proof. Party loyalty was more important than country loyalty.

H-no. I get more upset when my team loses than when my candidate loses. (And i've been pretty miserable this football season; i am an Eagles fan--sigh).
