I had my little girl 13 days ago and my discharge is like what you are describing. It is kindof a purpleish color and mucusy. It is normal. It is just how your body is adjusting to not being pregnant any more and cleansing its self. I had the same thing happen with both of my other children as well and that is what my doctor told me about it.
Happy 2 week birthday!!!
I hope all else is well for you!!

That is normal. When I was coming to the end of my bleeding after my son it started to look mucus like aswell and my doctor said it was fine if it never had any smell or I wasn't having pain or itching along with it.

most women bleed for 6 sometimes even 12 weeks after they have a baby, the mucus discharge is normal and means you are slowing (bleeding) down to normal. don't worry about it unless you notice a foul, musty, or fishy odor. smells like like that could mean an infection. other wise feel luck that you almost back to normal.

This is part of the normal healing prosses.
The color of the flow will go from bright red, to brown to a yellow or whitish color as your uterus heals. It is normal to see an increase in amount or a darkening of the color of the blood if you do something more strenuous or move around more. This may be an indication that you need to take it easy.

That is totally normal. I had a c-section and bled off and on for more than 6 weeks, and it became more mucus-y over time. And as I became more active, it would get a bit heavier again and then receed again.

I bleed for 6 weeks after having my baby via ER c-section. Its completely normal. IF you want though and feel like its weird, a dr. visit is ok. they are very used to this, and this is what you are paying them for! it does get lighter as the time goes by after having your baby.

I bled strangely for over a month after giving birth!! I would say it is normal, but it never hurts to check with your doctor.

Its totally normal. You will go from red, to light red, and to pink- and more and more mucus.
Its totally normal. Anything that comes out is fine so long as it doesnt smell like road kill or is snotty green colored.
