Depends on the baby I guess, my daughter is breastfed and I'm not a fan of breastpums (I only use it every now and then). Also, if the baby's going through separation anxiety, it's gonna be hard.

Now, can a mom spend a week away from a 9 month old baby? In case of an emergency only (a real one).

Uff, dunno. Still too young for that.

I went back to school when my son was 9mths and he lived with his father that whole time (my school was on the other side of the provance) they most certainly can spend a week away if you are not breastfeeding. Even if you were breastfeeding and you had to go away for a week it is still totally possable. Pump and store your milk for when you are gone and while gone conitnue to pump and freeze the milk to keep your levels up and if something happens you will have a milk supply sitting in the freezer.

Depends on the circumstances. If the baby is well adjusted, maybe. Mine did and they were ok. Mine stayed with my folks out of state for almost 1 week, while we moved. I think my youngest was 7-8 mos. old then. I wouldn't leave them unless it was really necessary though.

All depends if you are still breastfeeding. I wouldn't spend a week away from my 9 month old, breastfeeding or not. But that's just me.

Yes — if the father knows how to care for the baby.
