~~~ In retrospect I have two bests. The first best started on October 1st of 1981 when I met my husband Cliff. I wasn't quite 21 so I was just beginning adulthood. We had a great life together until he passed away on December 10th of 2004. We had many years together and had the normal ups and downs of all relationships,but we always loved each other. But he's gone and I'm alone for the first time in my life. I'm learning how to use my computer and lots of other things,which I really enjoy. So I'm having the second best time of my life after the first best ended. ~~~
Retrospect is a bind of the ego.
The most promising moment in life can only be the now.
Why, because that is the truth of the matter.
certainly not my High school years which were horrible. I got picked on ALOT.
For me, now is the best time, because I'm almost going to graduate, and theres a possibility that I'll be an assistant language teacher over in Japan, so alot of possibilities are waiting for me.
I'm healthy and I occasionally get to have some great times wih friends.
life is pretty good ^_^
From the day I was born to the present. I wouldn't give up my life for anything. I have had some bad times but it was all a good lesson not ones I want to repeat though
this is the best time of my life, in my early 50's, while other times were good, now with my daughter in college, the things i have learned over the years, and the openess of my mind, i am enjoying life more then ever, yes i would love to not have the wrinkles, lol, but as us baby boomers hit this stage, wow we have alot of wrinkle cream available!
society adjusts, now we have a whole new category of "young adult", and i think maturity is seen more as a plus, and we view each time of our life for what it is, no one time is better then another, just different
No need for retrospection.
It is now.
I'm at an age where my daughter is capable of living by and looking after herself.
I am at an age where I know what I want and have a good deal of it already.
An age where I have the freedom to do what I want and answer to no one.
Today - this moment - is the best in my life. Why? Because it's all that's important to me right now. Yesterday is a dream, and tomorrow but a vision....
