YES! I have always put other people first, since I was a child. Something about me wants everyone to happy.

It is very difficult for me to think of me first. I am always wanting to make sure everyone has what they want and need and don't really think about myself. If I do something that is just for me, I feel I have to justify it somehow.
I am trying to change that just a little.

Because we are shooting out little spiteful "me"s all the time in place of being truly giving and then feeling we deserve our own time and taking it.
Basically it is the person who is passive-aggressively forcing their anger or will into situations that they look at as "taking care of everyone else first" that keeps people from using their "me" time correctly.

I'm a mother of course my daughter comes first. And also I feel selfish and horrible if I put myself first and I start think of what could have been done or bought, if I hadn't acted like a stupid snob(put myself first)

Yeah it is I end up feeling guilty for putting myself first which kind of sucks because no one else is putting me first so I need to.

Yes, it is difficult because I want to be sure my husband is happy and that my job gets done correctly.

It can be. It helps to remember that it is impossible to love others unless you first love yourself. Christians are told to love their neighbours 'as ourselves' not 'more than ourselves.'
