I don't know if this will help, but after you uninstall everything (which you will likely have to do because it could be partly corrupted now due to an incomplete install), install TS2 first. Then go to the website and download any available patch for that game. Then try installing OFB.

Do you have any other Expansion Packs currently installed onto your computer? Specifically Pets, Seasons, and Bon Voyage.
If so, then your computer may be just like mine and the Expansion Packs might need to be installed in order in which they were released.
Try uninstalling your other expansion packs, then installing them all in order. If you don't know the order, here it is:
University
Nightlife
Open for Business
Pets
Seasons
Bon Voyage
If it still doesn't work after that, your disk may just be messed up. Take it back and exchange it for a new one.
Oh! I almost forgot, make sure your computer has enough memory to fit all the content. Maybe theres just not enough space on your computer?
That's all I can think of that might be the problem.
Hope this helped!

Hey there,
You can download The Sims 4 for free here: http://bitly.com/1ohfnwJ
All I wanted is a simple game which enhances my creativity and productivity as a young individual. This full version of the game makes me shimmer whenever I read positive feedbacks that this game is capable of bringing out the culture of your family.
It's a very nice game.

This is a pretty common bug with the installation. You're going to have to uninstall everything and reinstall it. Just make sure you've backed up your neighbourhood before you uninstall.
You might have to do this a few times before it'll actually go all the way through.

Make sure you have enough memory on your hard drive! The sims 2 takes up alot of space and maybe keeping other programs from running properly.
