why dont liberals just "leave"??

socialist liberals are always advocating that we need to be more like "insert said nation here". Why don't you just go somewhere else, there are plenty of places that would love to have you, after all chavez or Canada, or France would love to take you. There you can be free to have all the hippy beliefs that you want, so why do you not just leave???

is it that you just can't stand freedom anywhere and you "must" destry the foundation of the US?

to all of you who said you want freedom and constitution and blah blah .where does socialism, universal health care, wealth redistribution and high taxes come into play???

do you really think our lives will be "better" if you take from the "any body but the poor and give more to the poor" mentality?

i agree, liberals whine waaay too much, and they don't do anything about the problem, sixty years ago the hippies were doing the same thing (protesting as usual) and lately *shudder* the trend seems to be rising again. There are more and more self proclaimed hippies amongst teenagers and kids now a days, cause its the "cool and rebellious" thing i guess. And thats scary as sh*t, cause most hippies i knew were almost like a cult, actively getting you to join using passive aggressive techniques and pseudo intellectual rhetoric. i really hate hippies. Its also ironic how liberals are very detrimental when it comes to criticism and like to point out all the flaws with America, in fact most liberals excel in bashing America and compare it with other countries. Its almost as if they're dissatisfied with the land of the free, eh? Then they like to point out that we have to save everyone in the world from pain, starvation, taxation, misunderstandings, death, and terrorism. Because its inherently and obviously our job to save everyone. Sometimes i wonder what liberals would be like if they stopped smoking the joint. Then i realize that i don't care!! They live in a world where everyone is happy and marshmallows float by, they don't realize that the only way to have world peace is to live under one ruler, so that no nation is fighting each other and everyone is put under the same restrictions. Communism anyone? well i hope that pissed off liberals to high hell, (except it doesn't exist right?). peace out BROs, like rockin!!

Why, so we can leave the neo-con fascists to destroy what's left of the country? No, Liberals are patriotic. We love America. We don't put all of our energy into destroying America. We don't vote for war criminals who alienate all of our allies. We don't destroy the economy for self-serving, short-sighted reasons. We don't lie and manipulate to justify doing whatever benefits the few. We don't use thing like people's pain, outrage and fear after 9/11 to con people into supporting an agenda that is completely unrelated. We are there to fix the economy after the "fiscal responsibility" of neo-cons is inflicted on America. We value all life, not just unformed cellular clusters. We seek knowledge, not idealogy founded on ignorance and can not be supported by facts. We don't use the Constitution as butt-wipe, we defend it instead. Liberals love America. Neo-cons hate America and all it stands for. They are the traitors who should be forced to leave.

No way. This is OUR country--not the cons. They renounced any right to even call themselves Americans whenthey supported Bush's attempts to subvert the Constitution.

They are the ones who should leave--they are the ones who have no loyalty to America, its values, its traditions, or its institutions. They do not belong here--and as is obvious, have nothing in common with the overwhelming majority of the American people. Certainly no patriotism r love of this country--since they openly advocate the destruction of its freeedom and laws destroyed.

We won't leave because we care to much about you and our other fellow citizens..

if we left there would be nobody to keep the republicans in check and America would become a police state, and all americans would have to be brainwashed into hating whoever it was America chose to hate that week. And Americans wouldn't be able to believe what they wanted, they'd all have to believe that the government and the president knows what's best for the safety of the citizens and it's best just to let them do whatever they want...


... i don't want you to have to live like that.... so i'll stay here and continue to voice my opposition to Bush and the rest of the republicans.

Liberals formed The United States. Liberals fought the British for The United States. Liberals wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. I think that since you Tories never liked democracy in the first place, you should be the first to go. I'm sure that Cuba is looking for some more anti-democracy fanatics. How about you cons go there? Then you would actually have popular support for your anti-American agenda.

Thomas Jefferson said, "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." The same Thomas Jefferson who is one of the founding fathers of this country, and the same Thomas Jefferson who modelled our government after other European governments. So, "the foundation of the US" that you think is being destroyed by "socalist liberals" is built with the ideals of other self-governing countries.
