This has to do with copying files. I have sorted them according to extension and I want to save them onto a floppy drive. There are too many of them. Instead of holding the control key and highlighting each to select them, is there an easier way to select them all? I know there is, but I forgot. There are other types of files in the folder. But the files with the extension have been sorted.

If you're only copying files with one common extension ... you can do this:
Make sure it's viewed by type (right-clicking and selecting view),
Select the first file ... then scroll down to the last file that you want to copy ... hold the Shift key and click the file.
Then you can select the others that you want by holding CTRL.

Cheers
