I guess that would be about 7 mos. ago when I got fired. I was planning to quit as soon as I found another job, but the boss beat me to the punch. I spent a month in "limbo". But really, it was the best thing that could have happened to me since now I love my current job and have a great boss.

I honestly can't recall such an instance. I tend to obsess over and beat myself up for the smallest of mistakes and there have been plenty of those. But I try and plan for the big issues and events so that there are no surprises.
