I would accept and go out to the most expensive restaurant and order the most expensive thing on the menu and then when the food comes...I would look at it and say "NYA32, I don't like this...I'm going to order something else" then order a big dessert...and finally walk by some stores and look at him with the biggest puppy eyes so he would buy me something...
This will make him think twice before he makes me mad again...because it will cost him

BTW...your price for his "rida" should be your plane ticket to Lebanon...he he he

it should depend on why I'm mad at with him.
There are circumstances that wouldnt allow me to accept, bcoz I'm a very direct . If I'm really mad, I dont talk to him, so it shouldnt be comfortable to be sit in front of a person all the time a lunch lasts, without talk to him, although that person could be my husband. Some pple forgets very easy the reason why they are mad, ...I dont.

Also, there are circumstances that one came mad for a nonsense, that doesnt deserve to be mad for long time, and then one has to accept the offer of "peace" the husband is making when inviting to go out for lunch..

Finally, there is another circumstance that is important too, and it is, that not all the couples are the same, and none know better than oneself when to accept or refuse an invitation like that.

Sounds like you might be REAL mad ! Poor husband !
I'm a bit like Hally....if something has got right under my skin the thought of playing " happy families " would be beyond my acting ability ....I would look at clearing the air first & maybe then going to lunch if the issue is resolved .
If not , fight some more until you win ! lol

edit....Look at the answers below ! Sheesz , hell hath no fury like a woman scorned ! That is MEAN with a capital M !!

He could have a minimum of stated as and asked you in case you minded that he introduced alongside a "pal" from the place of work, that should have been somewhat extra considerate then in simple terms bringing somebody, incredibly if he made a lunch date with you. that should have been extra considerate and much less impolite.

It would depend on why you are mad and what he did. Is this lunch a peace offering? or is it just a meal? Can you discuss this situation calmly out in public? But my feeling is that even if you're mad at him, he is your husband you know that you'll work this out so you might as well go and eat. You're hungry now anyways.

My child, you DO NOT refuse an invitation from your husband if you are mad at him.
you take it and you make him pay for it dearly - and I'm not talking money- be difficult, capricious, embarrassing and ask for the impossible....then watch him boil across the table....

Let's just hope I don't ever experience that (being with a husband).
