I disagree with someone because they say it is and I have a hard time believing that. To my knowledge Windex is for glass cleaning not regular surface cleaning.

Anyone know an answer?

Thank you

Windex came out with new formulas that are for glass and surface cleaning. I think the orange one works great... I have used it on my stove and my countertops.

As for the regular blue Windex... nope, never tried it on anything but glass. I think on the back it gives other uses though.

There are a number of different Windex formulas. They are largely made for glass, but there is no real reason they can't be used on other surfaces. After all, Windex is supposed to remove dirt.
