This is the age old question that everyone wants to know, but no one has seemed to find a good enough answer to fit across the board for all women.

Guess what!! I have discovered the truth and can answer this question. So listen up.

Q: What do women want?
A: Trick question.

This question is impossible to answer because of one simple thing. Women change their minds. Women, generally speaking, are more emotional creatures as opposed to rational or logical like men are. So a woman's wants are very likely to change throughout the month, the week, and sometimes even the same day. It all depends on her mood. And we all know a woman's mood is often heavily influenced by hormones and her cycle.

So what she wants is only what she wants right now at this moment. A woman can never be ultimately satisfied because she will always be wanting something different.

This works out great for women because it keeps men busy trying to please them day after day. It's like trying to drive to the moon. Perhaps you can get closer, but you can never reach the end goal. It's unattainable, impossible.

I want my man to be a man. I want him to be the provider and breadwinner for the family. I want him to take care of his family and make decisions that are in the best interest of the family. I want him to have the balls to say what is right and what is wrong and follow through with his promises. I want him to be affectionate to me and treat me with respect. Listen when I have a problem and don't just try to fix it. Men are fixers. Sometimes a woman just needs to vent and doesn't want a solution. She just needs to get it off her chest. I want my man to help me with the housework and the kids. I want him to be sympathetic when I am feeling bogged down and overwhelmed by housework and kids and I want him to say "go on and have some time to yourself for an hour or so". I want him to be my friend as well as my lover.

I will tell you exactly what I told someone else. Every woman is different of course but almost all need this.

One of the most important things to a woman is your attention. Not when she has to run you down to get it but on your own and spontaneous. As much as we need sex to feel close to them they need attention to feel close to us. Actually even more.

I lost one wife of 37 years for that very reason. She put up with me for a long time but someone else gave her that attention she needed and we divorced. Had my second wife lived I may have done the same with her. I can't tell you how much I regret that.

We just don't see how important it is to them until it's to late.

How many times do you tell her you love her? How many times, on your free time, do you want to be with her? Do you always hold her hand, even in public? Do you surprise her with little things that show she is on your mind. Doesn't have to be much at all but she will love it.

If you ignore or take her for granted you will be sorry if she means anything to you.

She wants him to be and act like a man.

Men don't lie, cheat, act irresponsible, and are not afraid of feelings. Men know how to treat a woman, children, and have attained a superior level of maturity.

3. Thoughtfulness; give me surprise presents and date me when special occasion such as anniversaries and birth date,

a woman likes to be respected, wants a man to open the door for her, wants him to be sweet and thoughtful--buying flowers just because its friday...no need for expensive jewelry... a woman wants to be listened to. (take note of LISTEN not HEAR) a woman just wants to be loved!

What women want changes from day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute. My girlfriend went on a cruise a couple weeks ago. I never saw or talked to her again. All i got was a text message saying "I met someone, I'm sorry".

A man that will lead her. Protect her and cause nor allow harm to her. She needs to trust him and if kids are involved to love the kids as he loves himself. He needs to be all things to her so that she can fully give herself to him in every way. Physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially.
