Cats are about the easiest maitenance,all you have to do is feed and change litter. Dogs are more active and fun,but they need alot of attention and alot of Vet visits for shots ect. I have 2 poms and they eat like 1- 40 lb bag of food every 6 mo.

I have 4 cats and 2 adults dogs and 2 puppies, i think cats are the best, don't get me wrong I love my dogs but lets face it a cat you show them the litter box they go to it, the cuddle with you, you feed them,Dogs on the other hand, are very hard to housebreak, they bark and run off. Cats are better

I used to have a dog, after 15 years it died and broke my heart! I now have a cat that i acquired after a visit to the hairdressers (don`t ask). In my opinion both of my pets are/were lovely but there is no doubt dogs are the best pet. Cats are selfish and out for themselves dogs just love you whatever. I agree cats are really easy to look after and are cleaner round the house but dogs are more fun with big personalities. Financially dogs cost a bomb compared to cats and eat you out of house and home.Once my dog ran off with the sunday joint! There`s pros and cons for both i suppose but in my opinion dogs are best!!

I prefer cats over dogs personally. Cats are easier to take care of, don't have to be walked or taken outside to potty, and make great companions. I have four!!! I don't get the feeding part of your question. I give them food and they are happy.

my husband and i have a dog and 3 cats (guess who had which before we got married).
i love them all...but....
the dog goes outside, gets dirty, comes inside and gets the house dirty! the cats clean themselves.
the dog needs a "sitter" if we are going anywhere for any longer than the usual work day. the cats eat the food set out for them, use their litter box and sleep.
the dog begs and drools anytime we eat anything or even consider eating anything. the cats have no interest in people food.
again...i love them all.....but in my opinion....cats are better pets.

Well my cat is pretty laid back with the immediate family.. he gets frisky and you can put your hand in his food dish while hes eating and he'll give you a look like can I start eating again? My dog is outgoing loves people and you can have a little piece of food and literally put it in his mouth or near him and he wont like bite your hand off. They are both great and I love them equally.

Neither is better, they are just different. I have both.
As for feeding, I put the food in the bowl, they eat. All are always happy at feeding time.

How are dogs better than cats?You put food in their bowl and they eat,how hard is that?
Plus they are very affectionate.

DOGGS RULE cats suck they leave hair everywhere and they lick themselves in private places its disgusting dogs are cute funny and affecianete at least you can play with them cats scratch you if you try to play with them their conceided anywaz DOGGS WILL ALLWAZ RULE NO MATTER WAT U HEARD
