... but wont even give you the benefit of a doubt even one time? Case in point. I made a bad dumb joke that got me suspended. I used an off color word, but it does not mean I hate anyone that was in the group I made a joke about. She said she understood I hated them. I told her no, I was only joking, but I agree my joke was in poor taste, that's why I was suspended. She used to write me multiple emails every day and since I explained myself over a week ago, she has not written one time.
Kind of sounds very judgemental to me. I get the strong impression that I am better off without someone like that. I never asked her to give me a benefit of a doubt before. So why is that hard for people to do? Why do people judge one another so quickly and harshly without giving a person even one chance?

People here answering your question are so right. you should block me and save me the hassle of saying you are not telling the whole story and leaving some things out. What do you say? Want to block me and quit sending me questions to answer that still relate to why you got deleted?
I don't see the need to block me though when you could just quit sending me emails about your questions. I don't want to argue the point and I won't.

What she has done is certainly inappropriate, childish and vengeful, in a way. We are quick to judge as rush to judgement is the path of least resistance. Stepping, back, thinking and taking the path of compassion and kindness is much more difficult as it requires a sacrifice on our part, an admision that we are not perfect, and thus our fellow human beings are not either. That, we perceive as weakness on our part. Forgiveness also comes with difficulty to some as it requires submergence of ego and a selfless act of compassion. Forgive, her, Squirrel and move on. Somebody like the person you described is not really your friend. Why you did not get a second chance ? My guess is because she never did and thus is unable to grant it to somebody else.
Ah, ANNABELLA, my little cabbage... do you know of somebody who you can recommend who is taking applications for an Amant serieux ?
EDIT: aw shucks, Annabella, my spelling sucks... I was just too shy to ask you, but please send an application and I will send it filled out by return mail. I just did not want to be Amant de la nature et sportif... did I say this right ?

It's not "people", Squirrel, only "some people" who can't give you the benefit of a doubt. It does not sound to me as if this "friend" was really a friend. Many people are unable to trust others, and it is their problem. Don't make it yours and forget about her.
EDIT: DFA, what do you mean "somebody"? you mean not me??? It's a public outrage!
By the way, it's not "serioux" but sérieux... Seriously!

you're not alone. i used to e-mail back and forth with someone here too.
he vented about a problem he was having and i was happy to let him get it off of his chest.
then last week, i really needed to talk to someone and thought i could reach out to him.
he listened, offered encouraging words and the next day when i went to thank him for listening, he had blocked me.
i don't have a clue why. (my problem wasn't that bad)

A lot of people find it easier to see just the bad in something and can't see the good in the over all picture. I would just block her and chalk it up to a learning experience! :)
