You don't have to hate a team or hate a player to think that they cheated. It seems to be a pretty accurate label for both the Pats and Bonds.

The Pats* and Barry Bonds* are both asterisks. The only difference is that we don't know if the Pats* had been cheating for years like Bonds*. All you have to do is look at Bonds and his stats when he doubled in size to have your proof. It's just like O.J. Did he drip blood from his cut finger at the crime scene? Yes. Was the victim's blood all over his car and his property? Yes. CASE CLOSED!!

I remember watching Hank Aaron break the Babe Ruth's homerun record when I was a kid. It was huge. All the major networks cut away to watch the historical event. Aaron, Ruth, Dimaggio, Ty Cobb, Jackie Robinson, Mays, Mantle, are icons in American Sport. They are national treasures. I wish my kid could have watched Barry Bonds without steroid use. But that isn't what happened. So, the night Bonds was going to break the record, we didn't bother.

Names like haters - for people that dislike cheaters - is a badge of honor.

Cheaters - that are proved to be cheaters like the Pats and Baroid - are classless and their fans sacrifice honor for loyalty

A cheater is a cheater no matter how it manifests itself.
Barry will never make the Hall, never, and his homerun record will forever me marked with an asterick, if it even stands

The pats have already been found guilty and penalized. I however do not the the penalty fits the crime. They now already have all the info to insure their wins. If I was league president, the Pats would have been suspended for the season. Set the precedent.

i don't think the Patriots' label as cheaters will last very long, i think everyone will forget about it by next year. as far as Bonds goes, we've known he's been on steroids since he broke the single season HR record. now he's failed this drug test after he has broken the most precious record in baseball and there will be an * next to it. the Patriots getting caught for cheating was a total shock but Bonds juiced up, not so much.
